MAXXI - National Museum of XXI Century Arts

Zaha Hadid, the great anglo-iraqi architect, author of the project of the Mxxi Museum in Rome, doesn't conceive buildings as bodies but as field strength where trajectories and views interweave. The prestigious National Museum of XXI Century Arts, opened in 2010, represents the highest celebration of her innovative style, where light plays an important role.

The lighting systems have been chosen to define the external light design of this big architecture. Only thanks to custom-made solutions, purposely studied for the project, it was possible to realize the lighting concept born of the creativity of Zaha Hadid and her collaborators.

The external illumination is not only functional in respect to the architectural project, but is an integral part of its design. The lights frame the perimeter, perfectly enhancing the graphic effects.
